We are looking for a Scheduler to help us expand our presence with our clients in the Heavy Infrastructure Industry. Type of Employment: Contract

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain a complex Construction Schedule for the project.
  • Provide planning and scheduling reports including resource planning and progress measurements.
  • Liaise with construction management team regarding planning and scheduling activities.
  • Provide regular update reports detailing status, performance, critical paths, and analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze resource utilization.
  • Perform timely and complete update of project schedules to determine contractor performance compliance with approved baseline.
  • Prepare and present project schedule analysis and conducts studies of problem areas to determine critically of schedule activities.

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy construction with at least 5 years on site as a schedule integration experience on complex major projects.
  • Engineering Degree, PMP, Certifications from AACE or PMI in Scheduling desired.
  • Proficient (expert user) in using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Experience with taking schedules from the GC/Prime Contractor and integrated to an Owner's Schedule.
  • Familiar with resources loading and leveling as well as time impact analysis.
  • Experience working within a construction team on site.
  • Be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Possess organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and staff at all levels.
  • Strong computer proficiency skills in MS Office and other software programs.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, hard working and results oriented.
  • Must work well in a diverse team environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to planning and scheduling problems.
  • Able to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
