Role & Responsibilities:
- The FHA Project Manager will oversee the provision of supplementary Fire Protection Engineering project management services for the FHA project. The role is responsible for ensuring that all FHA activities are completed in accordance with the Fire Hazard Assessment Completion Plan and that compliance with CSA N393 [1] is maintained across all nuclear facilities.
- Report to the Fire Protection Manager and provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and risks.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies, to both the Fire Protection Manager and senior management.
- Lead project meetings, ensuring external consultants’ engagement, addressing management concerns, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Lead and manage the execution of the FHA project, ensuring alignment with the project timeline and milestones.
- Oversee the FHA Project Coordinator, delegating tasks and ensuring the FHA Project Coordinator provides support for day-to-day project activities.
- Coordinate between FPP teams and external consultants, ensuring effective communication and delivery of results.
- Collaborate with the FHA Project Coordinator to monitor project schedules, track deliverables, and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables, meeting established deadlines and quality expectations.
- Ensure all activities adhere to CSA N393 [1] standards and maintain compliance across nuclear facilities.
