Engineering Project Coordinator

Location: North Carolina

Type of Employment: Full Time

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Report solid line to the Engineering Program Manager and support Engineering Managers and Project Engineers 
  • Be accountable for on-time delivery of products and support 
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationship with engineering managers, project engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Interface with external as required on technical issues
  • Plan, organize and coordinate technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables
  • Support commercial and marketing opportunities to develop new business opportunities
  • Protect intellectual property rights of project
  • Support project initiatives, process improvement and simplification
  • Support project Nuclear energy quality requirements
  • Ensure adherence to project standards for nuclear safety and compliance
  • Streamline, integrate, and develop team technical information sharing processes across project teams and external partners to better support business through application of Lean principles

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in business environment
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using computer applications. Experience in word processing, presentation packages, databases, and spreadsheet packages.  Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Adobe software to be able to create/modify PDF files
