Role & Responsibilities:
  • The resident engineer is responsible for certifying that all submittals comply with the contract requirements.
  • Maintain current records of quality control operations, activities, and tests performed, including the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Produce Daily construction quality control report.
  • Maintain a deficiencies list.
  • Create and maintain the CQC plan
  • Perform 3 phases of control for all Definable features of work.
  • Shall be on site at all times during construction
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
  • Experience with installation of 2 units of 50 Mw or larger in the last 10 years.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (Written and spoken).
  • Proficient in using main MS office tool. Mainly Excel.
  • Capacity to work with client and be a contractor representative.
  • Be a problem solver
  • Have a high level of rigor.
  • Ability to work on a construction site (in USA) during construction phase.
  • Must be familiar with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) rules and manage local employees. (Norm EM-385)
  • Knowledge of RMS system.
  • Be able to complete the course ‘’Construction Quality Management for Contractor’’
  • Experience working on US Government project is an asset.
